On the afternoon of the 19th, two men who were skiing off the course of a ski resort called backcountry in Happoone in the Northern Alps of Nagano Prefecture were involved in an avalanche.

One of them went down the mountain on their own, but the other was unconscious, so the police and others decided to go to the rescue.

Before 3:00 pm on the 19th, a nearby person reported to the police that "two people were involved in an avalanche" at Happoone in the Northern Alps.



According to police, the avalanche was off a ski course called the backcountry, with two men rescued by nearby people and one descending on their own.



Another 46-year-old office worker from Tokyo was unconscious because he did not respond to the call, and the police and others are heading for rescue on the morning of the 20th.



They reported that they had climbed Mt. Karamatsu from "Happoone Ski Resort" in Hakuba Village and were skiing down the mountain.
