The time of the verdict for Nordahl Lelandais
The jurors of the Assize Court of Isère will decide today on the sentence attributed to Nordahl Lelandais.
The Advocate General requested Thursday morning the criminal confinement against the accused, tried for nearly three weeks for the murder of Maëlys.
Nordahl Lelandais, who “chance of the calendar” is 39 years old today, will have a last opportunity to speak at the opening of the hearing, at 9 a.m., at the Grenoble courthouse.
He is currently serving twenty years in prison for the murder of a young soldier, whom he had met by chance in April 2017.
Black day in transport with a major RATP strike

Traffic in the Paris metro will be severely disrupted this Friday due to a strike by RATP employees linked to wages.
Eight metro lines are closed and six others partially open only during rush hours.
For the RER, the Régie plans one train out of two at peak times and one out of three at off-peak hours, between 5:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m., on its part of lines A and B. The interconnection will be interrupted at Gare du Nord with trains from north of the line, on the SNCF side.
The Munich conference opens in a climate of cold war
International leaders and high-ranking diplomats are meeting in Munich, in southern Germany, from Friday to Sunday, for three days of discussions on defense and security issues.
Among those expected are US Vice President Kamala Harris, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, UN Chief Antonio Guterres, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, NATO Chief Jens Stoltenberg and President Ukrainian Volodymyr Zelensky.
The annual conference will be dominated by the crisis in Ukraine, where the United States fears a Russian attack "in the coming days".
