  On the afternoon of the 18th, the reporter learned from the Inner Mongolia High Road Company that at present, some sections of the Beijing-Tibet Expressway in Inner Mongolia, the Hohhot Ring Expressway, the Baomao Expressway, and the Erguang Expressway are all closed.

  Since the 17th, the temperature in various parts of Inner Mongolia has continued to be sluggish, and snowfall has occurred in many places. On the evening of the 17th, there was a heavy snowfall in the urban area of ​​Hohhot, and it turned white for a while.

  According to the monitoring of the Meteorological Observatory of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, from 8:00 on the 17th, a total of 68 stations in Inner Mongolia have experienced snowfall, and the snowfall mainly occurs in the east-west and most of the central and eastern parts of Inner Mongolia.

Among them, 2 stations experienced heavy snow, 3 stations experienced moderate snow, and 63 stations experienced light snow.

  The impact of continuous snowfall on traffic travel is not only reflected in the closure of highways.

  According to the news released by the meteorological department on the morning of the 18th, within 12 hours, roads in Ordos, Baotou, Hohhot, Ulanqab, Xilingol League, Chifeng City, Tongliao, Xing'an League, and Hulunbuir may be icy, which may affect traffic.

  The snowfall and cooling weather in Inner Mongolia this time have also adversely affected local agriculture and animal husbandry, and have adverse effects on livestock grazing, feeding, and warmth.
