According to Al-Qabas newspaper, the Court of Appeals sentenced 8 defendants to imprisonment for 10 years, after they tampered and falsified blood samples in analyzes for chronic diseases in exchange for bribes from expatriates in residency transactions. And the Ministries of Health and Interior discovered this incident, after the Ministry of Health received a call from the General Administration for Follow-up of Arrivals at the Ministry of Interior, and the examination was urgently re-examined for 4 arrivals, and the results showed positive examinations for hepatitis viruses at a rate of (2 positive for hepatitis B virus), and (2) Positive for hepatitis C virus, while chest examinations for tuberculosis were normal for the 4 arrivals.

A gang was caught tampering with the results of the medical examination by tampering with blood samples when they were transferred between the place where samples were taken and the laboratory, with the complicity of the security guard and the involvement of a health inspector from the Ministry of Health.
