This came during an inspection tour of His Highness at the Ajman Museum, accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Department of Tourism Development, Sheikh Humaid bin Ammar Al Nuaimi, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Majid Al Nuaimi, Director General The Citizens Affairs Office, Yousef Muhammad Al-Nuaimi, Director General of Protocol and Hospitality, and a number of senior officials.

His Highness was briefed on the contents of the various sections of the museum, which have been fully updated with technology, modern technology and smart devices, to bring the past closer to the minds and hearts of visitors.

This replaces dozens of books, through finds, heritage discoveries, and tools that were used in the past.

At the beginning of the inspection visit, His Highness and his companions of the museum listened to a brief about the prehistoric history of Ajman, through the Middle Ages, the history of the fort, and the establishment of the rule of the Al Nuaimi family, since Sheikh Rashid the First through the rulers and Sheikh Rashid III, and Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid bin Abdulaziz Al Nuaimi, one of the founders of the UAE.

His Highness was acquainted with the heritage tools, historical photographs, pearl and fish fishing equipment, and the old tools used, including upholstery, shorts, tailors, bench making and all professional crafts.

His Highness visited the department of pearls, fishing, the popular market, the private wing of Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, which includes his private room, his personal belongings, some papers, his dagger, souvenirs, etc., and the folk medicine and herbal medicine department, antiquities, manuscripts, historical weapons, agriculture, living room, kitchen and historical photographs section, which It included a set of pictures of Their Highnesses, rulers of the Emirates at the establishment of the union, the meetings that preceded it, and the visit of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, to the Emirate of Ajman, in addition to pictures of historical sites, tourist attractions, old markets, and other sections, and what they contain of collectibles and tools.

His Highness, the ruler of Ajman, expressed his admiration for the pictures selected for display and collectibles in all sections, pointing out that they represent a great value, and date important periods in the history of the Emirate of Ajman, which every citizen and resident should know, to appreciate the size of the construction that took place in the state and the Emirate of Ajman.

He stressed the need to motivate students of all stages to view this documentation, in order to strengthen their connection with the Emirati heritage, the history and values ​​of the country.

His Highness praised the great attention paid by the leadership to heritage, antiquities and national identity, and the preservation of the content of all kinds and colors of heritage, through the establishment of museums, and the organization of many heritage events in the Emirates in general and Ajman in particular, which in turn constitute historical and cultural beacons.

His Highness the Ruler of Ajman saluted the development efforts made by the heritage authorities in the cities of the Emirate of Ajman, and in the heritage area in the city center in particular, praising their efforts in implementing several projects related to urban development, making Ajman a global tourist destination, in accordance with the vision and strategy of its government.

His Highness thanked the work team that supervised the implementation and modernization of the museum, in terms of organizing and designing the halls that include collectibles and pictures, in addition to its efforts in research and documentation, which required great effort and time.
