Three people, including a gangster executive under the Yamaguchi-gumi core organization "Kodokai," were arrested for defrauding a man in his 70s for 1 million yen in cash.

The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating that executives have overseen a group of so-called "receivers" and have deceived more than 100 million yen so far.

Three people were arrested, including Mitsuharu Sano (45), a gang leader under the Yamaguchi-gumi's core organization, Kodo-kai.

The Metropolitan Police Department searched the headquarters office of the Kodokai in Nagoya on the afternoon of the 17th.

According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, five years ago, in 2017, he called a man in his 70s who lived in Yokohama, pretending to be his son, and said, "I forgot my bag in the toilet at the station. There is a suspicion of fraud, saying that if you don't pay 1 million yen, your contract will be ruined. "

As a result of arresting the so-called "receiver" who received the cash and proceeding with the investigation, it was found that there was a suspicion that three people were involved.

Of these, Sano is believed to have been in charge of a group of more than a dozen "recipients," and the Metropolitan Police Department has combined a total of 1 in the Tokyo metropolitan area and Aichi prefecture during the year and a half until 2019. We are investigating on the assumption that we have deceived more than 100 million yen, and we are also investigating that there is a suspicion that the money obtained from special fraud is the source of funds for the Kodokai.

The approval or disapproval of the three is not disclosed.
