Japan Airlines' system for managing boarding procedures and reservations had a problem, and from the morning of the 16th, automatic boarding procedures could not be performed at various airports, but in the afternoon the system was restored and some flights were restored. The delay in flight that had been issued in was almost eliminated.

Around 5 am on the 16th, a failure occurred in the boarding procedure and reservation management system of Japan Airlines, and automatic boarding procedures could not be performed at various airports such as Haneda Airport and Osaka Airport.

For both domestic and international flights, we couldn't check in using the "automatic check-in machine" or the Internet, and we had to check in face-to-face at the airport counter, so some flights were delayed by about an hour.

According to Japan Airlines, it was found that the cause was a problem with the connection infrastructure with the external company that manages the system, and it was restored after 2:30 pm, so an automatic check-in machine became available.

Since the flight delay has almost been resolved, Japan Airlines is investigating the detailed cause of the system malfunction.
