Moncloa tries to

mask the results in the elections in Castilla y León taking advantage of the logical interest that the

popular

strategy arouses

.

But the reality is that

the left has suffered a very harsh setback

and that at the polls there has once again been a resounding and clear vote of punishment for the Sanchista coalition government, which has resulted in the PSOE - which won the elections regional, do not forget, in 2019 - has lost no less than seven prosecutors and that Podemos, this time in coalition with the United Left, has to settle for barely keeping one of the two seats it had.

The socialists

go from defeat to defeat until the final defeat

, and this despite the spurious use of State instruments, such as the CIS or the BOE, to interfere in the campaign.

Since the formation of the two-headed Executive between Sánchez and Iglesias, supported by the Frankenstein parliamentary majority, the PSOE has suffered setbacks in elections such as those in Galicia or Madrid -where it has already been reduced to third party- and not even the victory in Catalonia could be politically profitable in any way.

The Moncloa administration is dissolving Podemos, which allows the Socialists to boast of having recovered the uncontested hegemony on the left.

They are satisfied with little because what is becoming evident in this new political cycle under way is that

the PSOE not only fails to widen its electoral space, but it is becoming smaller and smaller

.

And this to a great extent because its pacts with all kinds of identity formations, especially with radical and exclusive nationalists, is leading many citizens dissatisfied with the situation our country is going through to distance themselves from the systemic parties and throw themselves into the arms of new brands and localist platforms that have made the supposed territorial grievance and victimhood their effective flags.

It is a consequence of the perverse logic of subservience and perks to minority nationalisms that characterize Sánchez's policy of survival, without a trace of State vision or defense of the general interest of the nation, and that today

leads the Government to be perceived as a distributor of royalties in a Spain that is no longer empty but in disarray

.

We will soon know if the unstoppable dynamics inaugurated with phenomena such as the success of Teruel Exists and that in these elections in Castilla y León has given birth to so many localist platforms turn the next general elections into a reissue of the alphabet soup of 1977, when on the occasion of the democratic awakening, a multiplicity of parties concurred in the polls.

In any case, what is already clearly perceived is how the political irresponsibility of those who lead us nowhere, without a national project worthy of the name,

is encouraging this dangerous cantonalism that contributes to the disintegration of Spain, increasingly close to becoming an ungovernable country

.

This will be one of the most worrying legacies that this sanchista legislature will leave.
