Today, Egyptian media announced the death of the widow of the great Egyptian poet Salah Jahin, Sawsan Zaki.

Her grandson, poet Ahmed Amin Fouad Haddad, announced the news of her death on her official page on the social networking site Facebook, saying: "We belong to God and to Him we shall return... She died to God's mercy... my grandmother to my mother... Mrs. Sawsan Zaki... the widow of the poet Salah Chahine... The mother of the poet Bahaa Jahin, the husband of Mrs. Maryam Al-Banna, and Mrs. Amina Jahin, the wife of the poet Amin Haddad, and his grandmother.. Ahmed Haddad, Omar Chahine and Salma Haddad.

The funeral prayer was held today, after the noon prayer, from the Sayeda Nafisa Mosque, and mourning announced that there was no condolence session, as it was only the funeral of the deceased’s body to the graves.

The great poet Salah Jaheen is considered one of the Egyptian symbols in literature and poetry. He was distinguished and unique in his style that no one has ever seen before.
