In the latest Barometer of cycling cities published on February 10, the cities of Seine-Saint-Denis are among the least well rated by cyclists, reports France 3 Paris Ile-de-France.

Eleven towns in the department obtained the lowest score, “G” (very unfavourable), while no town in the territory obtained an average higher than “D” (moderately unfavourable).

150 million euros of investment

In each case, at least 50 people responded to the survey for the result to be published.

Thus, among the cities that have regressed the most compared to the previous survey, we find Bagnolet, which has been singled out for its lack of security and comfort.

Conversely, cities such as Pantin, Montreuil and Pré-Saint-Gervais were praised by Louis Belenfant, director of the Collectif vélo Île-de-France, for the efforts noted.

In total, nearly 150 million euros will have been invested by 2024 in the department in the hope of making the "territory 100% cycle-friendly", in addition to the RER V regional plan. this major plan development of cycle paths financed by the region.
