Case 2: Male, 33 years old, diagnosed as a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia (mild).
Case 3: Male, 27 years old, diagnosed as a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia (mild).
The two cases were in a closed-loop management state during the work period, and their activity trajectory was from the work dormitory (respectively: Spring Apartment in Fuyu Industrial Zone, Xinhu Street, Guangming District, Spring Apartment in Zhenmei Community) to the isolation hotel "two points and one line".
The Shenzhen Center for Disease Control and Prevention has completed the whole genome sequencing of the new coronavirus of case 1, which is a variant of Omicron (BA.2 evolutionary branch).
According to the results of epidemiological investigation and virus gene testing, it is preliminarily determined that the case was infected by an imported confirmed case in an isolated hotel, which is a new local epidemic caused by overseas import.
Lin Hancheng, a second-level inspector of the Shenzhen Municipal Health Commission, said that the risk of the outbreak is generally controllable. Since key groups such as close contacts are still within the medical observation period, the possibility of sporadic cases in the future cannot be ruled out.
