The reporter learned from the Propaganda Department of Maduo County Party Committee on February 13 that due to snowfall and low temperature in the past few days, the roads in Maduo County, the source of the Yellow River, have snowed heavily, making it difficult for passing vehicles on Dema Expressway, Gongyu Expressway, and National Highway 214.
Especially in the cold and windy section of Changshitou Mountain at an altitude of 4,600 meters, vehicles slipped and could not pass, causing vehicle congestion.
To this end, the local police went backwards in the biting wind and snow, providing assistance to the stranded and broken down vehicles to the greatest extent, and making every effort to ensure the safety and smoothness of road traffic in the wind and snow.
Up to now, Maduo County Public Security Bureau has dispatched more than 200 police officers to rescue more than 130 passing vehicles.
