A

varied and balanced diet

requires the presence of cereals, that ingredient that is sometimes forgotten.

This is warned by a study by the Complutense University of Madrid, which focuses on exposing the need to include cereals in the daily meal routine due to the

multiple benefits

they provide to the body.

Cereals make up a type of food with an extraordinary supply of

fiber and

essential nutritional compounds such as vitamins, minerals and trace elements.

Among some of its most relevant properties are the favoring of the digestive process, its antioxidant capacity or the maintenance of cardiovascular health.

A good formula to adapt them to the diet in

a simple, healthy and economical way

is by making our own homemade cereal bars.

They are very easy and quick to make, and can become a perfect snack to satisfy hunger between meals or even to take away from home, to the office or to class, for example.

Or to recover after an exercise session.
