With the new coronavirus, 1180 new infections were announced in Ibaraki Prefecture on the 13th.
It is the first time since the 1st of last month that the number of announcements for the day is less than the same day of the previous week, with 488 fewer people than the Sunday a week ago.
A total of 54,427 people have been confirmed infected in the prefecture.
The prefecture also announced that two people with confirmed infections had died, leaving 241 people dead in the prefecture.
