On February 12, the Chinese National Weightlifting Team was conducting training at the Wuzhishan Sports Training Base in Hainan, in preparation for the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games and the 2024 Paris Olympics.
It is understood that there are about 130 athletes, coaches and security staff in this training camp.
Most of the players are young athletes who entered the national team for the first time in the National Games last year. The five Tokyo Olympic champions, Hou Zhihui, Wang Zhouyu, Li Wenwen, Li Fabin and Shi Zhiyong, have also returned to the team for training.
