According to a British media report, Prince Andrew has been banished from Windsor Castle.

This was reported by the newspaper The Sun on Sunday.

As a result, Prince Charles ordered his younger brother to "get out of sight".

This is to avoid being photographed around the royal family.

After the death of Prince Philip last year, Prince Charles appears to have had a stronger influence and is taking a hard line against Andrew because he is damaging the royal family's reputation.

Andrew is said to have stayed at Windsor Castle until mid-January.

In mid-January, Andrew's mother, Queen Elizabeth II, stripped her son of all military ranks and royal patronage.

This means that Andrew will have to defend himself as a private citizen in the US process.

He no longer takes on royal duties, it was said at the time from Buckingham Palace.

Prince Andrew is accused of sexually abusing the current plaintiff, Virginia Giuffre, about 20 years ago.

Giuffre says he was previously a victim of an abuse ring set up by Andrew's former friend Jeffrey Epstein and his ex-partner Ghislaine Maxwell.

Andrew categorically denies all allegations.

According to experts, only a million-dollar payment can save the royal from a scandalous court case.

The prince otherwise has no good options, commented recently the well-known British media lawyer Mark Stephens.

"The damage has to be limited." Stephens estimates that Andrew would have to offer plaintiff Virginia Giuffre five to ten million pounds (six to twelve million euros) for an out-of-court settlement.

The obstacle: "Ms. Giuffre will want her day in court."
