After two editions canceled due to the health crisis, the festival will take place in 2022. Better still, for its 32nd edition, it is planning a record budget and offers Muse, Stromae, Bob Sinclar and Nick Cave as headliners.

"Music is life, music comes back, life comes back!"

“Launched during the presentation of the program Thursday in Belfort Matthieu Pigasse, the president of the festival scheduled from June 30 to July 3.

In 2018, the event attracted up to 135,000 spectators, a record year.

With 9.7 million euros, this edition will be marked by "the biggest budget that the Eurockéennes have been able to mount", insisted Jean-Paul Roland, the director of the festival, crowned in March 2020 "best festival" in the world at the Arthur Awards.

After an edition canceled in 2020, then replaced last year by a reduced format called "Secondary residence", Mr. Pigasse insisted on the "happiness of meeting today [...] The last edition was 2019, c was the old world…”

54 artists, including 45 new

On the menu of these "Eurocks" finally returned to themselves, a largely refreshed program, with 54 artists, including 45 who have never played there.

Undisputed headliner: the British group Muse, already scheduled for 2021 and which will be very present this year on the Franche-Comté scene: it is "a very big headliner, we no longer thought we could welcome them on the Eurocks (but) we are still getting there”, welcomed Kem Lalot, the programmer.

the British rock group Foals, "real dancing machine", or even SCH, "the new pope" of hip-hop in France, a genre abundantly represented this year in Belfort, detailed Kem Lalot.

The “Eurocks” will notably welcome Kaaris and Kalash Criminel as part of an “ephemeral collaboration”, he underlined.
