This is a landmark first.

That a whole country has been waiting for 60 years.

After failing in the final in 2002 and 2019, Senegal won last Sunday (February 6, 2022) in Yaoundé its very first African Cup of Nations, during this 33rd edition disputed in Cameroon.

Aliou Cissé's band, led by star Sadio Mané, capsized 16 million Senegalese with happiness.

At the end of a tournament where they rose in power, until the apotheosis.
