After a controversy across the Atlantic around a conspiratorial podcast (since removed from the streaming platform), Spotify decides to withdraw from its podcast services the channel "Equality and reconciliation FM" of the Franco-Swiss essayist of extreme- right Alain Soral, several times convicted by the courts.

Alain Soral is no longer available on Spotify.

The streaming listening platform has decided to remove the far-right Franco-Swiss essayist's podcast channel.

This case comes in the wake of an international controversy over the highly controversial podcast of American conspiracy theorist Joe Rogan.

His productions had cost Spotify the departure of singer Neil Young.

It is this time in France that the company decides to take new measures of moderation.

Alain Soral's content already removed from YouTube

From now on, the podcasts of the radical essayist Alain Soral are no longer accessible on Spotify.

The audio streaming giant announced on Wednesday that the "Equality and Reconciliation FM" channel was banned from its services.

In question, content of a hateful and anti-Semitic nature.

Spotify therefore denounces a non-compliance with its content policy and its rules of use.

Alain Soral has been condemned several times by French justice for anti-Semitism, negationism, insult and incitement to hatred.

Last year, his channels had already been removed from YouTube, following serious breaches of the rules.

On the other hand, episodes of his podcast are still present on Deezer.
