She tore her husband's body, burned his body, accused the thieves, and astounded the police for a month!

A horrific crime shook the city of Port Sudan, on the evening of January 31, when the residents of Hadal neighborhood in the eastern mainland rushed to the house of the merchant Osama Mahmoud, known as "Jacob", after hearing his wife's screams, to find him dead and on fire.

The wife claimed that a gang entered the house for the purpose of "theft" and when her husband resisted them, they stabbed him several times with a knife and tore his body, then tied his body with ropes and burned it.

It is noteworthy, however, that she said that the gang did not steal anything from the home's belongings.

This prompted the police, who came to the scene, to question the wife's story and began investigating her first.

According to "Al Arabiya.net", press sources revealed that the police took the wife to the station, and after a month of investigations, it was concluded that she had committed the crime, as she put poison in the food of the victim, then stabbed him with a knife, tore his stomach and body, and then burned the body.

The residents of the neighborhood seemed astonished, as some of them mentioned that there are no differences between the spouses and they were not heard during the period of their stay in the neighborhood, stressing that the dead man was one of the largest merchants in the city and had a good reputation.

For its part, the police said in a statement on Tuesday that they were able to decipher the crime of a Hadal neighborhood merchant after a wide investigation and after the ambiguity that surrounded the details of the report, and the perpetrator deliberately obliterated the evidence that led to her arrest.
