Saving Basant Khaled’s sister from suicide.. Pressure and arrogance with the families of those accused of extortion
Naira Khaled Shalaby, Basant's sister, a victim of electronic blackmail in Gharbia, became seriously ill as a result of her suicide attempt, yesterday evening, when she took a chemical pill because she was in a bad psychological state.
The security authorities received a notification of a report from Tanta University Hospital that a girl in her twenties committed suicide in her home in the village of Kafr Yaqoub in the district of Kafr El-Zayat Center.
It turned out that the girl was called Naira Khaled Shalabi, 24, the sister of Basant Fattah Al Gharbia, who was severely ill as a result of her attempt to commit suicide by eating a poisonous grain.
Doctors of Tanta University Hospital were able to perform first aid for her to save the girl’s life. A gastric lavage was performed for her and a solution was installed. Divine Providence intervened to save her and keep her alive.
Consequently, she lost the deadly active poisonous substance, which had a positive effect on her survival, and the non-proliferation of the effectiveness of the poisonous substance in her stomach and blood in her body;

The Basant family confirmed that her older sister, Nayra, had been in a bad psychological state in recent days, after a verbal exchange broke out with the families of the accused while she was walking in the streets of the village, saying: “Do not worry about what is happening to us,” which made her take a chemical tablet used to preserve grain, and led to the occurrence of her injury.
