This is Commander François, a 38-year-old professional firefighter.

The facts concern a forest fire in 2016 in Hérault, which claimed the life of a firefighter.

Following this death, seven firefighters who were on site, including the candidate from Koh Lanta, were indicted.

According to

Le canard enchaîné

, all are suspected of having given the troop unsuitable, sometimes contradictory orders, and provided insufficient training and obsolete equipment.

Information covered by the secrecy of the instruction, according to the production

For its part, Adventure Line Production, the producer of Koh-Lanta, assured the magazine

Here

that they were not informed of this indictment.

They specify that this information, covered by the secrecy of the instruction, was not public.

The production also recalls that this candidate is presumed innocent.

No change in the date of return to the antenna of Koh Lanta: the kickoff of the season of the "cursed totem" is expected on Tuesday, February 22 at 9:10 p.m., on TF1.
