A breath of fresh air for the winter holidays.

As the holidays approach for holidaymakers in zone B, a new health protocol for ski resorts was unveiled on Wednesday by the Ministry of Tourism.

Thus, as in other French resorts, holidaymakers in the ski areas of Savoie and Haute-Savoie will be able to drop the mask in certain situations, reports actu Savoie.

According to the recommendations of the authorities, the mask is no longer compulsory on the chairlifts and ski lifts as well as on the mats which are only used by one person at a time.

During their practice, skiers are also not required to have their mouth and nose covered.

Since today, the #mask

- is no longer necessary on #chairlifts and ski lifts 😎

- is recommended in groupings and lines outside at the foot of the ski lifts;

- remains compulsory, from 6 years old, indoors and in the cabins https://t.co/4FasiOHZZ8

Mandatory in confined spaces

The mask remains recommended in outdoor queues, but not mandatory.

On the other hand, it is always required, for all people over 6 years old, in gondolas and cable cars as well as in access areas located in enclosed areas.

To access the ski lifts, the health or vaccination pass, depending on age, must be presented.

Checks are carried out in the ticket sales area and at the start of the ski lifts.
