It's now official: a duet between Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift is about to land!

The singer confirmed it during the Brit Awards.

"I have a song coming out on Friday and it's with Taylor Swift," he told LADBible.

An hour later, his Instagram account specified that it was a highly anticipated title.

The Joker And The Queen

with my super girlfriend Taylor Swift comes out this Friday," he wrote in the caption of a post in which we can hear a short extract of the title, where the two popstars sing in harmony.

Not a first

This isn't the first time Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift have collaborated.

The artists, great friends, recently recorded

Run

, for the new version of the singer's album,

Red

, and they had previously sung together on two duets,

Everyhing has Changed

, in 2012, as well as

End Game

in 2017.

The news comes as Ed Sheeran was honored with Songwriter of the Year at the BRIT Awards on Wednesday.

The British star's fifth studio album,

Equals

, was released last October and took second place on the UK album sales charts, just behind compatriot Adele.
