We now know a little more about the death of America's Dad.
Bob Saget died in his hotel room last month after returning to the stage in Florida.
Until now, no official cause had been revealed, but in an official press release relayed by Deadline, the family of the actor and comedian revealed the conclusions of the medical examiner.
“Authorities have determined that Bob died of head trauma.
They concluded that he accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought it was no big deal, and fell asleep.
There were no drugs or alcohol,” it read.
Lessons that matter
In the message, those close to Bob Saget remind his fans of the importance of keeping in mind the “lessons” he was trying to pass on to all those who crossed his path.
“As we continue to grieve together, we ask everyone to remember the love and laughter Bob brought to this world, and the lessons he taught us: to be kind to everyone, to let everyone know to the people you love that you love them, and to face difficult times with hugs and laughter”, adds the text signed soberly by “La Famille Saget”.
Bob Saget was married to Kelly Rizzo.
He had three daughters, born from his marriage to his first wife Sherri Kramer: Aubrey, Jennifer Belle and Lara Melanie, all adults today.
