The woman’s crime, her plan began from her village in Ezbet Hagras, affiliated to Belqas Center in Dakahlia, and she came to Cairo and passed at the top of the Qasr al-Nil Bridge, thinking that by doing so her crime would not be revealed, so she carried her other older daughter to carry out the same scheme, but fate had a different opinion during the implementation Another crime in the same way, the older girl clinging to the mother's clothes and the wall of the Qasr al-Nil Bridge.
She screamed and called for help, which caught the attention of a person, who came to the rescue of the little girl and arrested the mother and handed her over to the Qasr al-Nil Police Department, who managed to find the body of the other girl.
In the investigations, after she was caught, the mother admitted that she committed her first crime and proceeded to commit the second, as her justifications and motives for her petrified heart were despair from the narrowness of life, and she wanted to throw her two daughters into the Nile River to drown.
The Public Prosecution filed charges against the mother under the articles of the Criminal Procedure Code, and referred the case to the competent criminal court in the Cairo Court of Appeals, to punish the accused, Ilham, who is imprisoned according to the articles of the indictment while continuing her pretrial detention, assigning a lawyer to defend her and notifying the accused of the referral order.
