A fatal danger to the drug “Paracetamol” with this disease

Scientists from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland revealed the deadly danger of the drug "Paracetamol" intended for pain relief.

According to experts, long-term use of this drug increases the risk of heart disease and stroke in patients with high blood pressure, according to what the agency “Sputnik” quoted on the site “ahajournals”.

Experts conducted a study in which 110 volunteers with a problem with high blood pressure took part, some of them took paracetamol four times a day for two weeks, while others took a placebo.

Taking paracetamol regularly is expected to increase the risk of heart disease or stroke by about 20%. After people stopped taking the drug, their blood pressure returned to the level it was at the start of the study.

Doctors from the UK's National Health Service have previously warned that taking paracetamol can cause a number of side effects, including discoloration of the skin.

Although the drug is widely used and helps relieve pain and lower a high fever, some people who take it may experience complications.
