Through the hashtag "Save the Negev", activists documented scenes showing settlers erecting mobile buildings on the lands, in an attempt to establish a new outpost, with the support of right-wing deputies, including extremist MP Itamar Ben Gvir.

On the other hand, activists and tweeters commended the residents of Al-Zaydna’s response to the settlers and prevented them from imposing their project. Tweeters also called on the official, human rights and popular authorities to carry out their responsibilities in protecting the Negev lands and the right of the people to live in their lands and homes.

The story began when settlers who called themselves "hill boys" raided the lands of the village of Al-Zayadna, and brought with them a mobile building, and they also built a number of larches with the aim of seizing the land of the Al-Zayadna clan, in the presence of Israeli police forces to protect them and prevent Arab citizens from approaching the area .

But the residents of Al-Zaydna in the Negev confronted the settlers and prevented them from establishing a settlement on their lands, as they immediately began demolishing the temporary homes brought by the settlers.

In turn, MK Itamar Ben Gvir came armed to the land of Zaydna in the Negev, and threatened to return the people of the region to Syria, as he put it. The Palestinians responded with chants of "This is our land."

He appealed to the residents of the Palestinians inside to unite to defend the land of the Negev, and the director of the Unified List bloc, Walid Al-Hawashla, denounced this operation, and indicated that communication with the competent authorities was made in order to withdraw this focus.

Among the tweets monitored by the interactive bulletin "Nasratkom" on 2/10/2022 was a tweet by activist Mamdouh Abu Ghalioun, in which he wrote, "Those who build it with their breasts, and those who sow it by moving it! The Negev faces settlement and land seizure."

As for journalist Hani Al-Shaer, he said in a tweet, "The people of Palestine and the men of the Negev will remain tougher than iron in the face of the occupier."

The tweeter, Ibtihal, wrote, "The occupation has not finished its plan to displace the Bedouin Palestinians in the Negev. A short time ago, they started harassing, and today they have started building a settlement on Arab lands in the Rahat area."

Activist Sarah praised the Palestinian people. She wrote, "A mighty people! You settlers will not stand up for you on our blessed land. It is our land.

In turn, Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem said, "The uprising of the people of the Negev and Rahat inside the occupied territories against settlers who tried to establish a settlement outpost on the lands of the Al-Zayadna family confirms once again the adherence of our people there to their land and their roots in it, and their readiness to defend its Arab identity in the face of foreign settlers."
