In the new video This is Sweden, the rapper Thrife depicts a dark Sweden.

Politicians, criminals, the media and the police are all responsible for the exclusion that has spread, says Thrife.

He himself has previously been convicted of, and served a sentence, for drug offenses.

- I have made mistakes, but to change you have to change yourself.

There is a way out and there is a better solution to it all than what is happening right now, he says.

Kulturnyheter's music critic Per Sinding-Larsen thinks that this is a video that stands out:

- It depicts a Sweden that everyone is talking about.

The discussion about the suburbs, gang crime, gangster rap.

But what makes it special is that Thrife, instead of focusing on one thing, tries to see all the things that happen.

It's not just the criminals.

The media has its role and politicians its role.

He is trying to give a much bigger picture of the problem, he says.
