[New Year's Chronicle] Jiangxi guys insisted on taking family portraits for more than a thousand villagers for 11 years

A family photo that captures the good memories of family members.

Since 2012, Zhan Donghua, a young man from Wuyuan, Jiangxi, who works in Shanghai, returns to his hometown every Spring Festival to take family portraits for his parents for free. This year is the 11th year.

In Tangwei Community, Pearl Mountain Township, Wuyuan County, I heard that a photographer would come to take a family photo for free. The villagers waited in the small square at the head of the village early in the morning.

Among the families photographed, there are three or four families, as well as three or four generations living in the same house. The smiles of different families are the same. With the sound of clicking, a family portrait is released one by one.

It is understood that over the past 11 years, Zhan Donghua has photographed family portraits for more than 1,000 fellow villagers, leaving countless touching moments of family reunion.

During the Spring Festival this year, Zhan Donghua plans to photograph 100 families. After taking the photos, he will go back to the Shanghai studio to refine, produce and frame each family portrait before sending it back to his hometown.

At the beginning, Zhan Donghua was alone, but now there are more than a dozen people involved in helping, and he also said that he will continue to persevere.
