The end of the Covid-19 pandemic would obviously be good news for everyone.
But it could also lead to the end of certain measures, in particular those linked to the "whatever the cost" strategy, implemented since March 2020. The terms of use of restaurant vouchers could for example be modified, indicates

A decision applied from March?
Due to the health crisis, the ceiling had increased from 19 to 38 euros of expenditure per day to allow the French to use their meal vouchers despite teleworking.
But this measure could end at the beginning of March.
This decision must be discussed with the social partners in mid-February, the Ministry of the Economy told
Le Figaro
.
In addition, the use of meal vouchers on Sundays and public holidays should no longer be possible.
In April 2020, the government had already announced that the weekly amount of meal vouchers would increase to 95 euros.
A sum that the French could also use for shopping.
“In concrete terms, this means that it will be possible to pay for food shopping in one go with restaurant tickets,” the ministry said at the time.
A first reduction in the measures had changed this ceiling, raising it to 38 euros per day and per person.
But the decree published in October 2021 must end on February 28.
