On the evening of the 9th, there was a fire that burned a house in Takasago City, Hyogo Prefecture, and then it spread to the nearby forest.

No one was injured, and the momentum of the fire has subsided.

A fire broke out at a house in Ushitani, Kitahama-cho, Takasago City after 4 pm on the 9th.

According to the fire department, the fire in the house where the fire broke out was almost extinguished after about an hour, and although no one was injured, the fire spread to the forest on the southwest side of the house.

The fire spread to the vicinity of the mountaintop, and as a result of 17 fire engines dispatched to extinguish the fire, the momentum of the fire has subsided.

However, since there are places where smoke is emitted even at 6 am on the 10th, the fire department has decided to continue fire extinguishing activities by watering from the sky with a helicopter.

In response to this fire, Takasago City opened a voluntary evacuation center on the night of the 9th, but there are no houses around the mountaintop where the fire spread, and no one has been injured so far.

The site is a residential area in the western part of Takasago City, which is adjacent to Himeji City, and the Sanyo Shinkansen runs about 300 meters away.

The Meteorological Observatory calls for caution in handling fire as the air remains dry.
