In Pointe-Noire (Guadeloupe), a march was organized on Monday to stop the escalation of violence in schools.

At the origin of this mobilization: the aggression of the principal and the educational adviser of the Courbaril college, last Friday, reports

Summoned to an appointment concerning her child, a mother would have violently pushed the principal of the college but also the education adviser, who would have fallen heavily.

The latter had to be hospitalized and was prescribed several days of temporary incapacity for work.

The president of the department condemns

Catherine Grandisson, principal of the Courbaril college, denounced the acts of incivility which push the teaching staff to call on the gendarmerie.

A hundred parents of students and college students were present to show their support.

In a press release, Guy Losbar, president of the departmental council, recalled that "nothing can justify such acts within a school establishment or in its surroundings".
