“A broken heart” .. a fatal danger that threatens the lives of women

Major American medical centers have warned of a new syndrome that has begun to spread among women in particular, called “broken heart.”

The "broken heart" syndrome, whose real name is "takotsubo cardiomyopathy", is defined as "a heart condition that may be caused by stress", caused by the repercussions of life after the outbreak of the new "Corona" virus.

Doctors said, "This disorder is caused by severe emotional or physical stress caused by a flood of hormones, and the condition can be fatal because it makes the heart pump blood less efficiently."

One of the patients with the syndrome, Kay Abramson, shared her personal experience with the condition, saying: "I felt my heart as if it was beating from my chest, and I felt that the blood could not penetrate the heart fast enough."

Abramson indicated that her doctors asked her if she was suffering from severe pressure, and indicated that her arteries seemed to be fine, and she explained that she was feeling very tense, mostly due to complications caused by the global epidemic.

She told her doctors: "(Covid-19) is going on, and as you know I can't go out and do my usual tasks, we are closed, so yes I was under a lot of stress."

"More research is needed to determine whether the increase in diagnoses is a direct result of the epidemic," said Dr. or not".

He said: "I don't know how much we can really blame Covid, but heart disease is the leading killer of women of all ages, including teenage girls, middle-aged women and older women, and that's just a component of this major killer, so it's Really something that needs to be addressed.”
