In 2008, a forest fire broke out in the famous Ya'an Mountains at the junction of the Qishan State-owned Forest Farm in Zhangchang Town, Danling.
Jiang Libing was the first to discover the danger. After reporting to his superiors and the forest farm in time, he walked 11 kilometers with everyone to the scene, successfully extinguished the fire, and prevented the fire from spreading to the Danling State-owned Forest Farm.
