Wife's revenge: tied him with ropes and poured boiling water on him

A woman brutally took revenge on her husband in the Egyptian city of Hurghada on the Red Sea, as she waited for him to sleep, tied him with ropes and poured boiling water on him.

The Egyptian "Sada Al-Balad" website stated that the first public defender of the Red Sea Prosecution had ordered that the 32-year-old, D.A.J., be referred to the criminal trial.

The investigations revealed that the accused had detained the victim, her husband, “Mahmoud. B. A.M.”, unlawfully. This was accompanied by physical torture due to previous disputes between them. In order to implement her criminal plan, she prepared the tools (rope and boiling pot), and waited for the victim to return to his home and go to sleep to implement her plan.

The accused tied his feet to the sofa using ropes, and as soon as she was sure of her tight control over him and paralyzed his resistance, she brought a pot of boiling water and poured it on him.

In the investigation, her husband said that he works as a tour marketing representative for a tourism company, and that after returning to his home and falling asleep, he woke up frightened, after hot water was poured on him, trying to escape, but he fell to the ground because his feet were tied with ropes.

He added that he saw his wife holding a bowl of hot water, and as soon as he called for help, she poured it on him again and ran away. Meanwhile, his youngest daughter brought a knife, untied him, and went to the hospital to receive treatment.

The forensic report established that the injuries were third-degree burns, and the prosecution's examination of the victim's residence proved that there was a rope tied to the sofa and similar to the description that the victim said during the investigation.
