Rigoberta Bandini at Benidorm Fest

has

been meteoric: her name has made the definitive leap into the mainstream.

Breasts through

.

Because beyond the vocal performance of

'Ay, madre',

one of the most commented aspects of Bandini's performance has been

her styling, a tribute to women that is worth reeling off.

Rigoberta Bandini has stood in the final of Benidorm Fest as she did in the second semifinal:

with a white die-cut dress with bridal dyes made by

the designer Joan Ros

(trained at Central Saint Martins) that, however, hides several significant messages

that are better appreciated once the singer removes her veil and sunglasses with which the performance also begins.

One of the most visible is

the Empress

, located on the belly of the dress;

something of everything, except casual.

This Tarot card is associated with strength and feminine power, one of the messages that Bandini champions and that, in fact, is part of the iconography of 'Ay, mama'.

"Some women create life with our bodies, others don't, but somehow we are all one

," Bandini explained.

"The Empress card in the Marseille tarot transmits that power to me, which is why I have chosen it as the cover for this song.

Beyond Benidorm or Eurovision, this song connects me with a precious force."

The image has also been shared in his Instagram stories by the designer of the dress.

It is not the only thing that is hidden in the die-cut piece.

An eye can be seen in the center of the chest of the dress

, something that also makes sense in the imaginary of the singer, who in her presentation has said that she believes "a lot in signals and connections."

That bride is detached from her dress, the dancers are in charge of it.

And then, Bandini is shown, in a non-literal way, bare-chested, showing the other fundamental part of her style:

the light beige bodysuit that blends with her skin

and with which she sings the end of 'Ay, mama'.

The desired effect is evident, but no less effective or poetic for that.

The chest is not left out "in the Delacroix style", but it is a pure and simple tribute to the body.

Just as the singer intends to do in the song, and has shared on social networks on more than one occasion. "Occupying the streets with our bodies without them being censored would be a great advance," he says.

The bodysuit is short both on the legs and on the sleeves.

Without adornments, beyond small cut-outs that join it to the dress;

without fireworks, or any type of rhinestones or applications that are usually seen in this type of events and appointments

.

Because there are times when bodies do not need decorations to be beautiful and striking, to which they can take advantage only for pure pleasure and not because of external and social demands imposed from outside.

And precisely for this reason, the message is so powerful.
