High altitude, lack of oxygen, and cold are no longer obstacles for people to travel in Tibet. The roads leading in all directions and flights all over the country, even in the cold winter, still can't stop the heart of traveling to Tibet.

On this plateau, there are dotted lakes, towering glaciers, and an uninhabited animal paradise.

No matter how much scenery you have seen in summer, Tibet in winter is a different scene.

When you come to Tibet, it must be the biggest regret in the itinerary without looking at the lake or the mountains.

Countless lakes have their own myths and legends, and have a unique appearance.

As a water tower in Asia, the number and reserves of glaciers in Tibet rank among the top in the country.

Namtso, Manasarovar, and Yamdrok (also known as Yanghu) are also known as the three "holy lakes"

in Tibet. These three lakes are the must-see places for most tourists and believers.

Namtso and Yangzhuoyongcuo are relatively close to the urban area of Lhasa and can be commuted on the same day. They should be regarded as the two lakes with the largest number of tourists.

Namtso is the second largest lake in Tibet, located at the junction of Damxiong County in Lhasa City and Bango County in Nagqu City.

In addition to the myths and legends with their own halo, the natural scenery is also absolutely beautiful, especially the holy elephant Tianmen.

Yamdrok Yongcuo, which means "Jasper Lake" in Tibetan, is a plateau saltwater lake, but there are also many fish.

Overlooking from the plane from Lhasa to Ali, the lake is blue, like a tattoo of the earth.

There is also Manasang Yongcuo in Ngari, western Tibet, which is nestled with the sacred mountain of Gang Rinpoche.

This lake is regarded as the object of worship by Tibetan Buddhism, Hinduism and other religions.

From the satellite map, it looks like a heart.

Sijin Lacuo, dozens of kilometers away from Lhasa, is the local "God of Wealth Lake", attracting businessmen and blessing people to worship.

Especially in summer, people often turn to the lake to pray for blessings.
