以腾讯视频为例，据介绍，2022年，平台打造“虎跃新开场 热映好时光”虎年电影春节档，期间平台不仅通过多类型影片与多元玩法的组合为线上观影拉满氛围感，更通过春节档院线大片与平台产品资源的联动为观众的线下观影添彩加色。
院线电影方面，将呈现包括《李茂扮太子》《雄狮少年》《误杀2》《长津湖》等院线新片，以及《新喜剧之王》《夏洛特烦恼》《唐人街探案3》《人在囧途》等经典喜剧片。
网络电影方面，也有《极地追击》《缩小人特攻队》《倚天屠龙记之九阳神功》《倚天屠龙记之圣火雄风》《暴走财神3》等重磅新片，以及《别叫我酒神2》《少林寺之得宝传奇》《发财日记》等优质老片。
除提供最新上线的新热电影及经典喜剧片之外，平台也将联动2022年春节档、情人节档上线的院线大片，包括在春节档上映的喜剧片《这个杀手不太冷静》，以及情人节档上映的爱情片《十年一品温如言》《好想去你的世界爱你》，在热映期于线上推出电影纪录片，揭秘影片的幕后创作故事。
2021年，网络电影市场再度迎来发展里程碑。为增加春节期间优质网络视听内容供给，满足广大人民群众观影需求，在国家广播电视总局网络视听节目管理司指导下，几大网络视频平台正式推出“网络电影春节档”，上线众多各类网络电影。据统计，从除夕至年初六，七天时间内网络电影累计播放量破4.4亿，同比2020年增长33.3%。
