Egypt .. The truth of the video of the terrifying atmosphere in the city of Alexandria

Users of social media platforms in Egypt shared a video of what they said was strong winds hitting the city of Alexandria in the far north of the country, coinciding with the very cold weather conditions.

The clip shows a very stormy atmosphere in the city that almost uproots trees and affects even the movement of cars, with a comment that reads: "Alexandria now."

But in fact, the clip referred to was filmed in Lebanon years ago.

By searching for the truth of the video clip, it was found that it was not taken in Egypt and did not originally coincide with the current time in which the country is witnessing a very turbulent and very cold atmosphere.

It turned out that it was taken in January of 2019, and the publications circulating at the time stated that it had been taken in Lebanon, which had already witnessed at this time a very turbulent air depression.

During the past few days, Egypt was affected by the blockage of an air depression in the upper layers of the atmosphere, at an altitude of 6 km from the surface of the earth, coinciding with the presence of an air depression on the surface of the Mediterranean Sea.
