Zhang Li, who has been a full-time mother for three years, and her husband Liu Jun work at Hikvision.

Her youngest daughter is one and a half years old, and her eldest son is 4 years old. She is already in middle school in Hikvision Kindergarten.

Liu Jun's office is just above the kindergarten, with only 19 floors in the middle.

This is the first embedded kindergarten in an industrial park in Hangzhou. In October 2020, it officially opened in the Hikvision Industrial Park in Binjiang District. Zhang Li's son became one of the first children to enter the kindergarten.

A year ago, it was the news that this kindergarten was about to open, which eliminated Zhang Li's concerns about having a second child.

In the Zhongce Rubber Group in Qiantang District, the emergence of Chaoyang Kindergarten, another embedded kindergarten in the industrial park, allowed Wan Fengyun, a female worker born in the 1980s on the tire production line, to reunite with her daughter, who had been left behind in her hometown of Anhui.

In the high-speed modern society, those young parents who are busy in the workplace have been shuttled between picking up their children and clocking in and out of get off work.

With the implementation of the "full liberalization of the three-child" birth policy, at the just-concluded Zhejiang Provincial Two Sessions, solving the "difficulty in entering kindergarten", "difficulty in picking up" and "difficulty in nursing" for young children is a hot topic for the committee members to create a friendly environment for parenting. It was also included in this year's Zhejiang Provincial Government Work Report.

The embedded kindergarten in the industrial park that Hangzhou has tried to launch provides a possibility for both work and childcare, and solves the worries of some employees in the park for childbirth and parenting.

After visiting a number of kindergartens and having in-depth exchanges with many migrant families with two children, the Qianjiang Evening News Hourly News reporter found that the embedded kindergartens in the industrial park are very popular and "in short supply".

At the same time, when the trend of self-run childcare for employees is revived, kindergartens under the new model are facing new challenges.

  Children downstairs and parents upstairs

In October 2020, Hikvision Kindergarten officially opened as the first embedded kindergarten in an industrial park in Hangzhou. Currently, there are 9 classes and a total of 240 children enrolled, but the supply is still in short supply.

Walking into the Hikvision Phase II Park, a very modern twin towers approached, and the corrugated blue glass curtain wall reflected the dazzling morning light.

At 8:30 in the morning, office workers gathered in a hurry from all directions. Some people were holding young children and carrying small schoolbags of various colors.

Passing through the lush green gardens, between the silver-white columns on the first floor of the building on the left is the entrance of Hikvision Kindergarten.

"Good morning!" Liu Jun sent his son to the kindergarten on time and greeted other parents and his colleagues.

Before that, Liu Jun just took his son to have breakfast in the canteen on the second floor of the company, and also spent some time reading picture books together.

"After breakfast at 8 o'clock, there is still plenty of time. My three colleagues and I take turns telling the children about picture books every day." Liu Jun, who is busy with work, cherishes such parent-child time.

After graduating from university in 2013, Liu Jun has been working at Hikvision. When he is busy, he usually has to work overtime until 11 pm.

The emergence of Hikvision Kindergarten allows Liu Jun to find some opportunities to accompany his children during the daily busyness.

Even in the morning rush hour when the elevator is congested, Liu Jun can reach his desk on the 19th floor in less than 10 minutes after sending his son into the park.

Sometimes, in the tiring work space or during the hurried lunch time, whether from the office on the 19th floor or the staff canteen on the 2nd floor, through the giant glass curtain wall, Liu Jun can see his son's kindergarten and see the children. Play and laugh in the small square.

Although it is often difficult for Liu Jun to identify his son in the blurred crowd, those small figures are enough to be gentle and reassuring after a busy work.

Compared with ordinary kindergartens that leave school at three or four o'clock in the afternoon, Hikvision kindergarten has a later dismissal time - 5:30 p.m.

If he gets off work on time, Liu Jun can take his son home with him, but sometimes, he will also bring his son to his office to accompany him to work overtime. "In the office, my colleagues put a lot of children's books."

In 2019, Zhang Li found out that she was pregnant again.

Fortunately, it is possible for her husband to take his son to work, and Zhang Li can spare one hand to raise the second child.

"People say it's tiring to have two babies, but in my family, my husband is in charge of one, and I'm in charge of the other, which is much better than expected." Zhang Li said with emotion that the appearance of her sister also made her brother sensible and reduced his burden. , "They have a very harmonious relationship. The elder brother will read picture books to the younger sister, and he will also take the initiative to feed the younger sister to eat." Now, Zhang Li is sincerely grateful.

Picking up babies in a group and caring difficult classes

In the accommodation area of Zhongce Rubber Group, Chaoyang Kindergarten, the first built-in kindergarten in Qiantang District, came into being by using the overhead floors and open space on the first floor of two seven-story buildings.

There are 237 children in Chaoyang Kindergarten. Among them, more than 90% of the children are not registered in Hangzhou, and their parents are from Anhui, Henan, Jiangxi, Gansu, Shandong and other parts of the country.

At 4:30 in the afternoon, some parents in blue overalls arrived one after another.

They came from the factory area separated by a wall or two kilometers away, and waited for their children to finish school at the gate of the kindergarten.
