Shiga Prefecture announced on the 25th that it was confirmed that 499 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
Shiga Prefecture has the third highest number of infected people per day and the highest number on Tuesday.
A total of 18,490 people have been confirmed infected in Shiga Prefecture.
