A source in Cairo Governorate confirmed that Faten Hamama Cinema in El-Manial was issued a demolition license No. 10 of 2018 in accordance with Law 49 of 1977, as it is not an architectural model according to a letter from the Ministry of Culture. The cinema was handed over to its owners by the Sound and Light Company in 2002, which is private property, and an inspection device The building affiliated with the Ministry of Housing gave a demolition permit and a committee from Cairo Governorate examined the papers and found their validity.
