A Saudi historian surprises everyone by correcting a historical mistake in the anthem “The full moon is upon us”

The Saudi historical researcher and historian, Dr. Tanidib Awadah Al-Faydi, revealed that the Islamic anthem “Tala’ Al-Badr Al-Aina” contains a historical error.

Al-Faydi said, in his speech to the Okaz newspaper, that “the full moon has risen upon us” is a beloved Islamic anthem, but the fact that the full moon has risen upon us and comes from the folds of farewell and this is south of Quba, this is a historical mistake.

He continued: The folds of farewell are known to the north of Medina, and they are adjacent to Mount Silaa, which has become inside it, and the three folds were known and there was a mosque called the Al-Thaniya Mosque, but south of Quba there are no folds at all.

The historical historian continued: "The anthem of the full moon came upon us, it was narrated that it appeared when the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, returned from the Battle of Tabuk, and not during his migration, because the first that appeared was in the fourth century AH. the Messenger when he descended on his she-camel from Quba to the site of the Prophet’s Mosque.”
