Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 24th that it was confirmed that 2013 people were newly infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
The number of infected people in the prefecture per day exceeded 2000 for the sixth consecutive day, the highest number on Monday.
The breakdown is 686 in Fukuoka City, 295 in Kitakyushu City, and 115 in Kurume City.
A total of 97,068 people have been confirmed infected in Fukuoka Prefecture.
