While the infection of the new coronavirus is rapidly spreading, the number of cases of "follow-up center" that specializes in observing the health of home care recipients is also increasing rapidly in Chiba prefecture, and we are busy with measures such as increasing the number of staff.

In Chiba prefecture, the number of home recuperators reached about 10,000 as of the 23rd, approaching the peak of the 5th wave last year.

The prefecture is observing the health of mildly ill patients at the "Home Care Follow-up Center" established in September last year, and on the 19th of this month, the number of cases handled reached a record high of 3021.

Since there are many cases where reports on the health status of home caregivers are cut off, the number of staff has doubled since last weekend, and up to 32 people such as nurses are working, but the work is still tight. As a result, we are considering increasing the number of people in the future.

Furthermore, by the end of this month, we are urgently responding to the rapidly increasing number of home care recipients, such as securing 30,000 new pulse oximeters to measure the oxygen level in the blood.

In addition, at the "Fever Consultation Call Center" in Chiba Prefecture, there are about 2000 consultations per day, which is the highest number ever this weekend, and we are planning to increase the number of operators from the 25th.
