[Explanation] Under the elevated railway where the high-speed rail roared past, a patrol dog sometimes lowered its head and sniffed, and sometimes listened carefully, and was following the patrolman on a day's patrol work.
Its name is "Huzi", and it is 14 years old this year, which is equivalent to the advanced age of 75 human beings. This Spring Festival is the "last shift" of its patrol work.
[Explanation] It is understood that the patrol box to which "Huzi" belongs is located in the Daqing Public Works Section along the Haqi High-speed Railway, the northernmost alpine high-speed railway in China.
The main job of the patrolmen and patrol dogs is to inspect under the high-speed railway bridge. They have to walk 32 kilometers on foot every day. Now it is also the peak season of the Spring Festival.

Huzi is a German Shepherd, referred to as German Shepherd. Our job task is to maintain the safety of equipment and facilities along the high-speed railway. Just like the fence under our high-speed railway is inclined, the bottom space is too large, and the barbed wire is rolling. The cage is damaged, and our main responsibility is the safety along the high-speed rail.
[Explanation] "Huzi" has been guarding the Haqi high-speed railway during the Spring Festival for 6 years, and has traveled nearly 80,000 kilometers in total, which is equivalent to circumnavigating the earth twice.
It is now "four or nine days", and the temperature at the scene has reached minus 20 degrees Celsius. It is their normal work to face cold winds and heavy snow.
But patrolman Wang Hongbin told reporters that even if the weather is cold, the "tiger sons" will do their jobs well, and they will help them to complete the task during the daily "walking journey".

Huzi gives me the feeling that he is very smart, treats his work, and is very conscientious.
Why do you say that?
When we patrolled together, when we arrived at key parts and key sections, Huzi would remind me that this is what I think Huzi treats his own responsibility, and he takes this part very seriously.
Another one, when I get along with Huzi, I regard Huzi as my good comrade-in-arms, like family, we are together, day and night.
[Commentary] The patrolman told reporters that he found that every time the high-speed rail passed by, the "tiger son" in patrol would prick up his ears and look at the railway, but because the dog's viewing angle is too low, and the patrol path is under the bridge , "Huzi" is actually very difficult to see the appearance of the high-speed rail. Over time, this has also become a regret for the patrolmen.

Why do you say sorry?
Huzi has been on this patrol route for so many years. In fact, he has not even seen the whole picture of the high-speed rail train, or even the high-speed rail train. Why hasn't he seen it.
Because the patrol route we took belongs to the high-speed rail train, under the elevated bridge of the high-speed rail, it always walks in the grass and snow.
I think if I have the opportunity, I will take Huzi to see the high-speed train and passengers it guards.

Make something delicious during the Spring Festival to reward this loyal "comrade-in-arms".
But when they thought that this was the last Spring Festival with "Huzi", the guards couldn't help feeling a little sad.

In the days to come, we and colleagues will visit it from time to time, hoping that Huzi will eat and drink well in the days to come.

The patrolmen also promised to take the "tiger son" to stand on the last shift to ensure the safety of the railway during the Spring Festival travel period and let the passengers have a good year.
