On the evening of January 21, local time, 74-year-old actor and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger was involved in a car accident in Los Angeles, injuring a woman.
The Los Angeles Police Department said that at about 16:35 that day, Schwarzenegger's black SUV crashed into a red Toyota Prius.
It can be seen from the pictures from the scene that Schwarzenegger and his friends were at the scene. The female owner of the Toyota Prius was taken to the hospital with a head bruise. There are no reports of other injuries.
The Los Angeles Police Department said alcohol and drugs have been ruled out as the cause of the crash.
US media reported that this is not the first time Schwarzenegger has been involved in a car accident.
In 2006, while serving as governor, Schwarzenegger crashed his motorcycle into a car, cracking his lip.
