Beware of hidden corruption
"Clean and unclean, watch the festival." The Spring Festival is not only a time for relaxation and leisure, but also a key node to test the style of cadres.
At the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, President Xi used four "heavy tasks and a long way to go" to deeply analyze the new phased characteristics of the anti-corruption struggle. One of them is that there is still a long way to go to effectively deal with the invisible mutation, renovation and upgrading of corrupt means.
This is a wake-up call for us to build a strong anti-corruption defense line, especially during the Spring Festival, keep our eyes open and beware of invisible corruption.
In recent years, the whole army has pushed forward the construction of party style and clean government and the fight against corruption, and the army has a new look, but some invisible mutations, renovation and upgrading of corrupt methods are hard to prevent.
For example, express gifts, send electronic red envelopes, "don't eat public funds to eat bosses", and so on.
Some party members and cadres were lucky about this, thinking that they "did it quietly and received no traces", but because of this, they went astray and made a big mistake.
Violation of laws and disciplines is "one foot above the devil", and anti-corruption must be "one foot high".
The core of effectively dealing with the invisible mutation, renovation and upgrading of corrupt means is to weave the cage of the system and the grid of dense supervision.
Party committees and disciplinary committees at all levels must implement their main responsibilities, keep an eye on new manifestations and new variants of corruption, strictly investigate and correct them, refuse to give in an inch, and make precise efforts to fight when they show up.
At the same time, the supervision channels and publicity platform are unblocked, so that the majority of officers and soldiers can participate in the supervision.
More importantly, every party member and cadre should always be vigilant against "corrosion" and "hunting". Only by sticking to the principles, being able to withstand temptation, and being clear-minded, can they see through and resist those who are dressed in the cloak of traditional Chinese customs and who are hoodwinked. Only by putting on a warm veil and putting on a new "vest" of corruption can we celebrate the festival cleanly and easily.
