The film is scheduled to be released on February 1, the first day of the Chinese New Year, which is also Zhang Yimou's first foray into the Spring Festival.

　　When asked if there will be box office pressure, Zhang Yimou said that he has no high expectations for box office data in the Spring Festival in 2022, but he still expects "Sniper" to become a dark horse.

When talking about whether he has thought about changing the schedule, Zhang Yimou said that the schedule is not something he can decide. The Chinese film market has good schedules throughout the year, and the most important thing is to be able to produce good works.
